The fiber Arselon is unique. This is the only fiber based on poly-oxadiazole polymer, which is produced in industrial volumes.
The facilities are located in Republic of Belarus. Initial raw materials are terephthalic acid (PTA), hydrazine-sulphate and oleum, which are chemical commodities. High thermal resistance allows 3 years fiber application at temperature 250 °C. The fiber withstands short-term heat shock at 400 °C with no shrinkage or melting.
The colors available are yellow and orange one with UV-protective additive. Dope dyeing is possible.
