The fiber Arselon is unique. This is the only fiber in the world based on poly-oxa-diazole polymer, which is produced in industrial volumes.
Initial raw materials are terephthalic acid (PTA), hydrazine-sulphate and oleum, which are chemical commodities. High thermal resistance allows 3 years fiber application at temperature 250 °C. The fiber withstands short-term heating at 400 °C without shrinkage or melting.
We offer yellow and orange colors with UV-protective additive. Dope dyeing is possible.

The fiber withstands temperatures up to 400 °C without dimensional changes and/or thermal destruction. At 430 °C initial thermal destructive process is starting, and intensive destruction starts only at 450-470 °C.
An important fiber property is good dimensions stability, this is especially attractive property for protective garment application. At temperature 430-500 °C deformation is 2% max. Fiber elongation is based on aromatic bond ability to additional regulation while under thermal treatment.
Arselon filaments and fibers are easy to use for fabrics and felts process.
High level of water absorbency (as high as cotton has), good coloring value, low inflammability level, elasticity at high and low temperatures are key factors to use Arselon fabrics and felts for heat resistant protective garments production (suits and gloves).
The garment is approved to use at metallurgical works, gas and oil industry, rescue services.
Low metal friction coefficient (below 0.2) allows to use fiber, fabric and pulp for composites, especially for heavy-loaded sliding bearings. Arselon has highly electrical insulating properties.
Arselon is highly resistive to organic acids and solvents, oils, mineral oil, has middle level of resistance to dulited unorganic acids and alkalis.
BOTH FILAMENTS AND FIBERS ARSELON ARE HIGHLY HYDROLYTIC RESISTIVE.
