CARBON FIBER WOVEN TAPES

  • Process: graphitization of woven tape from rayon technical yarns;
  • Carbon content up to 99.8% (depending on treatment temperature);
  • Elementary carbon fiber is 0.05-0.09 tex.

PROPERTIES

  • Stability in non-oxygen medium 3000°C max;
  • Stability in oxidizing medium 400°C max;
  • Insensitivity to electromagnetic, nuclear and space radiation;Filament Tensile Strength 1.2 - 1.5 GPa;
  • Average Tensile Modulus 60 GPa; 
  • High chemical resistance to attacks by acids, alkali, solvents at high temperatures;
  • Electrical conductivity; High resin adhesion level.

APPLICATION 

The application examples are based on present state of knowledge we have. CARBOPON-B-22’s unique properties allow other problems also to be solved. It is a reason of close cooperation with users and processing companies when needed.
